With Mother’s Day and Memorial Day just around the corner, peruse our calendar of events to help plan your spring weekend getaway!

Mother’s Day Weekend

FRIDAY, MAY 9

2:00-3:00 PM “How Well Do You Know Your Mom” trivia
I bet your mom knows everything about you, do you know everything about her? Winner gets any snack off the Turtle’s Snack Bar

5:00-6:00 PM WINEdown Yoga
Meet us at the Poolside Pavilion for a fun way to relax. Enjoy (1) complimentary glass of wine, mixed drink, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. No mat? No worries, we have you covered. Class is open to everyone over the age of 6. Please RSVP no later than 3:00 pm at activities@sunflowerbeach.com with your name and drink of choice. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to get your drink and get set up.

SATURDAY, MAY 10

11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pre-Mother’s Day Brunch
We will be serving French toast (2 slices), choice of bacon/ham/sausage, hashbrowns and 2 eggs one way scrambled.
(optional add ons: onions, peppers or cheese ) (kids plate 1 slice of French toast, meat of choice, hashbrowns and 1 egg served scrambled).

2:00-3:00 PM Special Mother’s Day Craft
Ssshhh….it’s a surprise!

5:00-6:00 PM WINEdown Yoga

Memorial Day Weekend

FRIDAY, MAY 23

5:00 - 7:00 PM Happy Hour at the Turtle’s Poolside Pavilion
Live music by Billy Snipes

SATURDAY, MAY 24

9:30-10:30 AM WaterFit
Cool off as you workout! This low impact class will have your heart pumping and muscles working! Don’t underestimate the power of water! (please be sure to wear appropriate swimwear-we will be in about chest deep)

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Family Field Day
Meet us on the Great Lawn for some family fun in the sun! Some games will require a partner. If you don’t have one, one can be provided for you! Registration starts at 11, the first game starts about 11:20. Sign up for one or all events. We will have chairs and umbrellas.

11:25-11:40 - Egg Race
11:50-12:05 - Fastest Stacker
12:15-12:30 - 3 Legged Race
12:45-1:00 - Winners Ceremony

EVENT PRIZES:

2nd Place Free Sunflower Koozie
3rd Place Popsicles for the whole team

3:30 - 5:30 PM Sand Castle Lessons at Mile Marker 28
Want to compete in Sandfest 2025? Join Mark as he shows you some secrets to building prize sandcastles…well at least ones that won't fall when you take the mold off!

5:00 - 7:00 PM - Happy Hour at the Turtle’s Poolside Pavilion

7:00-8:30 Bonfire w/ S’mores

SUNDAY, MAY 25

9:30 AM Yoga!
Join us for this challenging but fun class. Laughter will be provided! For all levels

9:00-4:00 PM Lawn Games
Enjoy at your leisure corn hole, ladder toss, croquet, connect 4 and Tug-o-War. We will have chairs and umbrellas available.

12:30-1:00 PM Bingo

1:00-2:00 PM Basket Weave Fish
