9:00 - 4:00pm Beach Games at Mile Marker 28

• Come on out and enjoy some volleyball, corn hole, and ladder toss!

• Games are subject to cancellation/ early pickup depending on the tide or inclement weather.

7:00 - 8:30pm Bonfire w/ S'mores at Mile Marker 28

• What’s better than hanging out around the fire with everyone’s favorite messy snack? S’mores supplies provided!
  

Memorial Day Weekend

Friday, May 24th

10:00am - 3:00pm - Swim & Shop Vendor Market at the Pool

• Start Memorial Day Weekend right with a little bit of shopping with vendors from the coastal bend. With 12 vendors, you’ll surely find the perfect thing you’ve been searching for.

  • **Please dry off before visiting the vendor booths.

Saturday, May 25th

11:00 - 3:00pm - Family Olympics - Meet at the Guest Services Lawn at 11 am. Games start as a group at 11:30am. DON'T BE LATE!!

• Does your family or group have what it takes to be crowned “Sunflower Family Olympian Champs?” Come out and join the Sunflower Family for the following events:

  • Tug of War, Sack Race - red light/ green light edition, Egg Race, Egg Toss, 3-Legged Race, & Fastest Stacker!

  • Be sure your family/ group is wearing the same color. Teams will be of 4-6 people. If you want to play but are a few members short, don’t worry! We will find a group for you.

3:30 - 5:30pm - Free Sand Castle Lessons with Mark the Sand Castle Guy at Mile Marker 28

• Want to compete in Sandfest 2025? Join Mark as he shows you some secrets to building prize sandcastles! Or, at least ones that won’t fall when you take the mold off!

5:00 - 7:00 - Happy Hour at the Turtle’s Cafe Pool Pavilion with live music by Billy Snipes 

• Half price food & drink specials!

Sunday, May 26th

9:30 - 10:30am - Relaxing Yoga at the Pool (please sign up at activities@sunflowerbeach.com to reserve your spot)

2:00 - 3:00pm - Crafts at the Pool

• DIY pinwheels! Crafts are for ALL AGES! Parental/ guardian supervision required for ages 6 and under.
  

Friday, May 31st

9:30 am - 10:30 am - CardiYoga at the Pool (please sign up at activities@sunflowerbeach.com to reserve your spot)

11:00 am - 4:00pm - Scavenger Hunt

• Starting at Turtle’s Cafe Pool Pavilion with your first clue, then make your way around the Resort collecting chips at every clue. Return ALL chips during happy hour for 1 free cup of ice cream!

5:00 - 7:00pm - Happy Hour & Ice Cream at the Turtle’s Cafe Pool Pavilion with live music by Brad Etherige 

• Half price food & drink specials! Return all the chips from the scavenger hunt for a FREE cup of ice cream.
  

Saturday, June 1st

11:00am - 3:00pm - Golf Cart Decorating at the Pool

• If you have a cart, let’s decorate! We will have some items for you to use, but feel free to bring anything you’d like. If you don’t have a cart, come on out and enjoy some snacks and drinks from Turtle’s Cafe and watch everyone work their magic!

4:00 pm - Golf Cart Parade/ Contest

• The parade will start at the pool - look for our signs! We will head toward guest services and out to the beach, then make our way toward the boardwalk. We will zig-zag through the resort and end where we started. Feel free to set up chairs anywhere you’d like to get a good view of the parade. We will have boxes set up for you to vote for your favorite cart!

  • 1st Place Winner - Receive a FREE chair & umbrella rental (1 set)

  • 2nd Place Winner - Voucher for a FREE pizza from Turtle’s Cafe

  • 3rd Place Winner - Receive a $5 off voucher for any food item from Turtle’s Cafe

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Happy Hour Food & Drinks at Turtle’s Cafe
