New Urbanism was founded in the belief that physical environments have a direct impact on happy, prosperous lives and that well-designed cities create healthy places for people and businesses to thrive.  Sunflower Beach is distinctively modeled after the successful communities along Florida’s 30-A such as Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Watercolor and Alys Beach, whose main features include walkability, connectivity, quality architecture, sustainability and quality of life.
